“Loved our stay at Setsumon.”
Loved our stay at Setsumon. The location couldn't be better and the rooms were exactly as advertised. We really liked having a little kitchen and laundry. Most memorable was the staff. Thomas and Sinead greeted us at check-in and were super efficient and friendly. Over our week there, Tom, Meg , Maddy, Lydia and Emily were all so friendly and gave us lots of good tips and recommendations. Would absolutely stay at Setsumon again!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, made truly exceptional by the outstanding service from the receptionist, Tom. From the moment we arrived, Tom was warm, professional, and incredibly welcoming, immediately making us feel at ease. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable — always happy to help with questions, recommendations, or anything we needed, and doing so with genuine care and a positive attitude. His local knowledge and attention to detail really stood out and made a big difference to our overall experience. It’s rare to encounter customer service of such a high standard, and Tom is a real credit to the hotel. Thanks to him, our stay felt personal, relaxed, and memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend this hotel, especially knowing we’d be greeted by someone as fantastic as Tom at reception

“Best location, central to everything”
Great stay at the Setsumon recently, we will definitely be back. Best location, central to everything, apartments very spacious and provision of everything you need to make your stay comfy. Only issue was the difficulty with sufficient voltage in a lot of the powerpoints to charge our various devices, which is a common issue throughout Japan and the staff helped us with lending adaptors and cords to fix as best they could. Special shoutout to Ryan on the front desk who was a great help to us with dinner recommendations, luggage transport, and with getting our luggage out at the end of our stay.
